Founded on February 2, 1983, Maga Rebuilding Ltée began operations in a 4,000-square-foot facility specializing in the sale and repair of automotive alternators and starters.
What started as a small, specialized business has grown into a diversified company offering a wide range of products, repairs and technical services.
Through continued growth, investment and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Maga Rebuilding has expanded its expertise to serve customers across multiple industries.
Our Milestones
1983
Founded by Anne-Marie Boudreau, Gilles McIntyre and Almase Thibeault, specializing in alternator and starter sales and repairs.
1984
1986-1989
Expanded into electric motor sales and repairs.
Ownership evolved, with Almase Thibeault becoming the sole owner in 1989.
1995
Expanded facilities and lifting equipment, while introducing the sale of bearings, pulleys and belts.
2011
Continued facility expansion and achieved ISO 9000 quality system certification.
2014
Added sales of ATV, snowmobile and motorcycle parts and accessories.
2017
Kevin Thibeault and Steve Thibeault acquired the company from their father, Almase Thibeault, continuing the family tradition.
2020

Added a new 16 × 70-foot showroom and introduced electric bicycles.
